These comments are referring to a post called What am I thinking????. I posted this originally on Facebook, and I got a few beautiful and wonderful comments. All from my future mother-in-law. She is very intelligent and wise. She posted 2 and sent me one in my inbox that I later posted for everyone to see. These mean a lot to me and hopefully will help someone else. :)

"And there is no better encouragement or inspiration than our own children. For them and bcuz of them, we can do amazing things. You are already a success just getting this far and being committed to the goal before you. Each week will bring new encouragement as you see the weight dropping more and more each week. Every single thing we do, we imagine it first in our minds, All things begin in our minds, When we were little, we imagined what it would be like to be able to ride a bike. We see ourselves doing in our mind, we picture what it would feel like, and it materializes before our eyes. We continue to do this all in our minds, first, We play our lives out in our minds first, then reality follows suit. the bible says, "as a man (woman) thinketh in his/her heart, so is he/she." Always, always it begins in the mind, Never has any great accomplishment been achieved by just arriving there instantly, or unplanned, or unrealized. The mind is the ground zero of all we do in life. We have our successes and failures first in our mind before they become our reality. This is the first step in all we do. Then we align or thoughts with our words, "out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh," We have whatsoever we say. If we say we will always fail, we will always fail, If we say we never do anything right, we will never do anything right, When we line our heart thoughts with our speaking, then all else comes into line with that, as God seeks to create our best thoughts and intentions, as co-creator with Him, He gives us this power and all the tools we need to accomplish it. He is bringing all things together for your good, and His glory, and it will be an amazing journey."

"I am glad you are blogging your progress, bcuz as this goes on, you can tell and show others, that if you can, they can. The single hardest thing a person can do, other than learning to live without loved ones, is to lose weight and change their body. It is seemingly an impossible task to accomplish. But it can be done. Bariatric surgery is no cop-out and no easy way out. You have to work hard, exercise, just doing all the liquid diets and elemination stuff even before surgery is not going to be fun. But you have the prize in front of you, and that prize is anamazing and long life with the little girl you and my son brought into the world. You may even be mamma to some more beautiful, blonde haired, blue-eyed little angels just like Billy Jackson and Sara Cook! You can show them, see this-this is how hard I worked for you, bcuz you were wortth it. I want you be to be here for my family until you are 100 and beyond!! It encourages and excites me seeing where you have come from and where you are headed, knowing that with every step, with every single pound lost, with every activity that you are more able to do and to do it longer and better, will bring you to the place that will create the life you deserve, for Gabi Marie, for Billy, even tho he may not deserve you,but more so for yourself and for the person God created you to be!! So excited for you!"

"Oh and be sure and start with measurements, sometimes that is a better indicator of true loss and size rather than those scales, a pound of muscle is smaller than a pound of fat. just do an exercise journal, or use your blog for that. set small attainable goals, such as walking the same distance for 3 days,. then increase the distance. your body has an amazing ability to rise to the demands you place on it, and 3 days is about good for simple walking, then increase the distance. continue to do that, then add differences, like uphill, and maybe with weights also, in your hands. the body becomes stagnant very quickly. weight exercise is the same thing. I studied so much on that from when billy started, then I just kept going, it was amazing to see what you could not do, then were able to do. the body can be exercised every day by alternating groups of muscles. the only sets of muscles that can be exercised in a row are the abs and the calves. they can be exercised every day. I used to love the flex seat. you hooked your feet into it, hung out over the platform, and bent over and back up in succession. I used a weight plate, and it is the single most amazing thing for abs. I never thought I would love weights like I did, but it can transform your body in ways aerobic exercise cant do. but if you combine them both, you will be able to make yourself over into the amazing person outside to match your inner views. if you never lost a pound, you are still amazingly beautiful woman, who has such a grounded spirit, has the ability to love completely, and the inability to ever hold grudges or hard feelings. you have been under-appreciated by yourself most of all, and this journey will just unleash the potential you have always had. I cant wait to see how you will be when all this comes together, it has already began-in your mind and spirit. I will be here for you every step of the way"
